Knowledge is the key to mission success. Without continued education whether formal or informal we stop growing and cease developing as individuals. We encourage veterans and their families to stay on the path to success, through hard work and education. This is why we have been funding scholarships for veterans for over 20 years.

The Veterans in Energy Technology & Science raises funds annually for the veteran communities at Las Positas College and Delta College. These students are your future engineers, nurses, scientists, teachers, first responders and programmers. Their drive to succeed that was honed in the military surfaces in the work they do at these colleges.

Many that earn our scholarships often become interns at LLNL. While interns, these veterans network with others in our community to later earn full time jobs with out National Labs.

The amazing thing about earning scholarships is the example these veterans set. It encourages others to get back on track, to set priorities and continue to develop your mind for the future of our communities.
